Résumé

In a groundbreaking initiative to combat drug addiction and medication misuse in mental health, UOSSM in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), successfully completed a specialized training program. With 118 mental health professionals participating, this program marks a significant milestone as the first of its kind in Northwest Syria. The event, held in December 2023, concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants, furthering the mission to enhance skills and increase efficiency among healthcare professionals.

Histoire

To address the pressing issue of drug addiction and medication misuse in mental health, UOSSM collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) to conduct a pioneering specialized training program in December 2023. The program engaged 118 mental health professionals from diverse backgrounds and expertise. Participants explored crucial topics such as detection and referral strategies, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to combat these challenges in their practices effectively.
