In November 2023, H., a child diagnosed with Down Syndrome, began a life-changing journey at UOSSM’s physical therapy center in Kilis. Initially struggling with weakness in his limbs and delays in cognitive and motor development, H. faced significant challenges in basic movements such as rolling and sitting. Under the guidance of skilled physiotherapists, a comprehensive treatment plan was created to meet H.’s unique needs. Through a series of tailored exercises and therapeutic interventions—including functional occupational therapy and posture correction techniques—H. made remarkable strides in his development. With unwavering support from his dedicated therapists and family, H. has achieved significant milestones and can now roll, sit and crawl independently. His journey serves as a beacon of hope for families encountering similar obstacles, demonstrating the transformative impact of specialized care and rehabilitation services offered at UOSSM.
