UOSSM and WHO Lead Groundbreaking Training on Drug Addiction and Mental Health in Northwest Syria

In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at combating drug addiction and medication misuse in mental health, UOSSM, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), successfully completed a specialized training program. With 118 mental health professionals participating, this program marked a significant milestone as the first of its kind in Northwest Syria. The event, held in December 2023, concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants, furthering the mission to enhance skills and increase efficiency among healthcare professionals.



In a concerted effort to address the pressing issue of drug addiction and medication misuse in mental health, UOSSM collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) to conduct a pioneering specialized training program.
