The Inpatient Admission Unit features two wards: a female ward with five beds and a male ward with fifteen beds. The facility is designed to prioritize patient dignity and safety. The services provided in the inpatient unit include:

The outpatient clinic complements inpatient care by offering thorough psychological assessments. A dedicated team—including psychiatrists, Mental Health Gap Action Program (mhGAP) doctors and psychosocial workers—evaluates patients to determine their eligibility for inpatient admission based on specific criteria, ensuring comprehensive follow-up throughout the process.
As the only facility in the Al Bab district providing inpatient mental health services, the Al Bab Mental Health Center plays a crucial role in addressing the pressing mental health needs of the community.
