Initially responding to the Syrian crisis, UOSSM has broadened its efforts to other regions impacted by conflict and natural disasters, including Morocco, Gaza, Ukraine, Lebanon, Mozambique, and Nepal. The organization aims to improve public health, support local healthcare systems, and empower communities with sustainable healthcare solutions. UOSSM combines emergency medical care with mental health services and capacity-building for local healthcare systems. Beyond immediate aid, it trains local providers, enhances health governance, and creates long-term solutions to healthcare access issues.
