Amid the urgent need to improve access to primary healthcare services, we have launched a vital project to support primary healthcare centers in four gouvernantes in Syria (Damascus, Deraa, Deir Zour, and Homs), in coordination with the Ministry of Health. In the first two weeks of the project, we will conduct a comprehensive field survey to accurately identify the needs. Collaborating with the Ministry of Health, we will assess infrastructure, human resources, and available equipment. This step is not merely an evaluation; it’s essential to ensure efficiency and effectiveness for anyone willing to support the primary health sector. It’s the beginning of practical, thoughtful solutions designed to improve the quality of healthcare services in selected centers.

Based on the survey results, we aim at providing comprehensive support to these centers to ensure they deliver high-quality, inclusive healthcare services. This support extends beyond equipment or medication and includes deploying qualified medical teams to meet the local community’s needs and the set of protocols and quality criteria according to international health standards.
