UOSSM is planning to build a comprehensive medical complex in Idlib, Syria, on newly purchased land. This state-of-the-art facility will provide holistic healthcare services to over 10,000 beneficiaries each month. Help UOSSM build a new medical complex.
UOSSM has acquired land in Idlib, Syria, to create a cutting-edge medical complex that will significantly enhance healthcare services for children, women, and vulnerable populations in northwest Syria. The UOSSM medical complex will include several key components: a specialized children’s and women’s surgical hospital, a specialized cancer center, a specialized physical therapy and prosthetics center, and a research and development center focused on training and capacity building.
Our goal is to establish a medical complex with the following departments:
Features 10 specialized outpatient clinics, an emergency department, a pediatric surgery wing, a birth unit with 40 incubators and a 100-bed inpatient wing with three intensive care units.
Provides comprehensive cancer care, including diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Offers rehabilitation services for individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries and disabilities, along with prosthetic services
Dedicated to training, education and capacity building for healthcare workers and local NGOs, supporting the residency program for the Syrian Board of Medical Specialties.

LONG-TERM IMPACT
Supporting this initiative will significantly enhance medical services in Northern Syria. The complex is projected to provide 12,000 medical consultations monthly, including care for 6,000 children, 350 births (natural and cesarean), 250 major surgeries and 400 minor surgeries each month. It will create a sustainable healthcare system addressing the critical health needs of the region.
