Now living in Al-Foua village, Abdul Rahman struggles with poverty and disrupted education while trying to support his family financially. Despite these obstacles, he dreams of becoming a painter and decorator.

Abdul Rahman’s family confronts significant financial hardship exacerbated by the ongoing conflict. The bombings that struck their town disrupted Abdul Rahman’s education and attempts to return to school in the displacement area were thwarted by poverty, forcing him into labor. He worked in painting, decorating and even chicken butchery, earning a meager wage of just one dollar per day. Eventually, he had to stop working due to overwhelming circumstances.
